Christopher Anzalone

Christopher lives in Sacramento, California with his wife, Jennifer, and son Luca (4). He works as a nurse and started really playing golf in 2017.

TIE TO THE MONTEMAR - Christopher sort of has two tie ins to the Montemar. The first is that his wife met Phil’s wife when they worked together at Bandera. Christopher and Phil were introduced and they quickly realized they like drinking and golfing together. They continue to drink and golf together and will continue to do so, I assume, at the Montemar Classic. The second is that he used to work with Eric Pohl on the ambulance.

Christopher spends about four hours per day playing legos with his son and says it’s pretty much the best thing ever. I can relate and it says a lot about who Chris is. Another great dad and another great guy for this tournament.

ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MONTEMAR - Sounds like Christopher is going to donate a gift card of some kind. Thanks!

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN 2024 - As mentioned many times before, we make this really tough for rookies to win. That said, we make it really hard for anybody not to have a good time. Christopher seems like a guy ready to drink some beers on the golf course and have blast doing it. His handicap lands in the sweet spot though and if he sticks with this thing should have a great chance at doing some damage in 2025.

 ODDS TO WIN –84-1

FUN FACT – Another baseball player in the group, Christopher played collegiately in Texas and semi pro in Mexico.
