PERSONAL - Randall is single with no kids and lives in San Francisco, California. He works as a suit supplier and took up golf about a year after Dillon’s bachelor party, where he shot about a 150 at Troon North. Similar story to this in his fun facts.

TIE TO THE MONTEMAR - Randall met Ryan Butler through a mutual high school friend in Sacramento. He claims to have never heard Ryan complete a full sentence until about a year ago because they were always too obliterated when they hung out. This part about Ryan doesn’t surprise me at all. Hopefully Randall and the boys can power through like Ryan did last year and make it through all three rounds. I have faith and I’m looking forward to meeting hte guy in Idaho.

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN 2024 - The Butler crew is headed to Idaho to have a blast and that’s exactly what they’ll do. Aside from maybe Butler, Davey, and Thompson, it doesn’t sound like any of them will be knocking at the door of any course records. No rookie will win this thing but if Randall sticks around for more years he’ll have as good a shot as anybody due to our scoring system.

 FUN FACT – Randall mentioned that he played Troon North for his fourth or fifth round of his life during Dillon’s bachelor party and shot about a 150. Ian Youngblood, who Randy is paired with first day, played his first ever round of golf last year at Troon North before the Montemar started. I was there for that and, as expected, was a painfully bad round. His first tee shot went sideways off some poor dude’s condo. Ian shot at least 150 that day.
