Justin Driscoll

PERSONAL - Justin lives in Poulsbo, Washington and is in a long term relationship with his girlfriend, Ashley. He has no kids of his own but Ashley has three girls; Miah (16), Asher (13), and Lennon (8). Justin works in general contracting and is in the process of opening his own business that will operate from Tacoma to Kitsap and mainly focus on finish work, tenant improvement, and remodels. His grandfather got him into golf when he was 12 and he tries to play 3 or 4 times a month now.

TIE TO THE MONTEMAR - Justin met both Derek and Neil when he was 10 through little league and school and they’ve all remained buddies ever since. I met him when I coached baseball at North and he was still a student there. When asked about stories about either of them, Justin pointed quickly to a golf trip he had just returned from with Derek in Arizona, and to a trip he made with Neil to The Rose Bowl when he was in college. The only details I got were that him and Neil got into all sorts of shit in LA and, knowing Neil back then, I can only imagine it was a bunch of stupid but fun shit. Justin is an awesome guy who does all the things to make this tournament on myself, and will be fun to hang out with for anybody who gets to play with him. Another great addition to the Montemar and we’re happy to have him on board.

ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MONTEMAR - Justin is coming through big time with a $100 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN 2024 - First, if he wants any shot at a jacket, Justin needs to get his priorities straight and bolt from his sister’s wedding as soon as everybody’s too drunk to notice he’s gone. If he does that, sleeps in central washington, he can wake up early the next day and get to Circling Raven in time for the opening round. A zero on the points column for one day would completely take him out of the running. That said, family is very important so we’ll just hope he makes it in time and not judge if he can’t. I know the guy really wants to get there! If he makes it on time, anything can happen at the Montemar. He plays enough golf to be able to get around the course and if his iron game in on he’ll be able to pick up some much needed points on the par 3s. He’s done great with the payment and other “easy” points. So many factors that go into it all but no reason Jusitin can’t be hanging around atop the board come Monday.

ODDS TO WIN - 52-1

FUN FACT - Justin is a graduate of WSU and worked in Seattle in Media before tiring of corporate life.
