Dylan Deffenbaugh
PERSONAL - Dylan is single with no kids and lives in Santa Clarita, California. He’s doing well for himself at a young age and owns and operates a high end appliance supply company. Dylan took up golf when he was 7 years old.
TIE TO THE MONTEMAR - Dylan is part of the Southern California Lambirth crew. Many years ago, Michael Addison hired a large and very cool human named Jackson Lambirth to work for him. Last year, because Jackson lived in the Phoenix area, Addi invited Jackson to come play in the Montemar with us.
He had such a good time he decided to come back for more, this year bringing a couple more to join the fun with him. If Dylan is anything like Jackson he’s a hell of a dude and another great get for this tournament. He’s definitely got the right kind of DAWG.

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN 2024? Dylan will need to string together three days worth of golf like Jackson’s last hole of the 2023 Montemar. Down one hole with one hole to go in a 25 point 2 vs 2 best ball match with the jacket still on the line, and his parter Steve’s tee shot somewhere it wasn’t supposed to be, Jackson stepped up to the box and let one rip down the middle. The man who had failed to win a hole all day then stuck his next shot somewhere in the middle of the green. He two putted for par and forced this guy to make a huge left to right bender to secure the match and a shot at the jacket. This guy’s ball lipped out and we halved the match and I still can’t get over the 12.5 points it cost me. Looks like Dylan’s got a similar golf game as Jackson. If he can bring it for 45 out of 54 holes he’ll be doing okay. Most important thing though is that he has some fun and meets some cool new people. Him and Steve are the two youngest in this year’s tournament and I’ve already pinned Steve as my successor to keep this thing going after I drop. Perhaps Dylan can help him out.
